• Post-game Persona 5 Royal, Rank 10 Akechi ending w/ some speculative headcanons for what he's up to post-game.
• Got roped into Shadow Operatives bullshit by Mitsuru Kirijo as an alternative to prison and opportunity to put his abilities to more constructive use.
• Does not trust that this will end well and is extremely jaded but also would rather not rot in prison.
• Extremely aimless, as he expected to die. Oops, turns out he has to live with his crimes and move forward.
• Will match whatever name for Joker that the other player prefers in meme/PSL threads.

For Games:

I do still play with the angle that Akechi is alive at the end of Persona 5 Royal, and I like to incorporate the deleted scene involving a shelter to explain where he was offscreen when allowed, but any knowledge of the events and characters of Persona 3 and 4 is limited strictly to what we know from games like Persona Q2 and the unused costume dialogue.

No preference for Joker's name between Akira and Ren, and in the absence of a Joker in-game, I'll just opt not to refer to him by name so that any potential castmates can play with the name they like.

YES TO:

• Backtagging! I can be sporadic because I have ADHD and am a major soup brain juggling a lot of projects.
• For memes/PSLs, etc: Doubles, other Persona games, AU and canon interaction, crosscanon/crossmedium.
• Interactions w/ other canon points, even if I play this boy as post-game.
• Other characters are welcome to crush on him, though I headcanon him as gay, so he won't reciprocate with girls.

NO TO:

• Prefer to avoid NSFW threads, but fade to black is fine if a ship develops to that point. Akechi is a character who has heaps of baggage involving intimacy due to his mother and the circumstances of his birth, so it won't be something he does on a whim, if at all.
• Ships with characters younger than 15 - 16.
• Not especially interested in playing out threads where my character gets killed.
• Anything involving assault/unprompted abuse.
• Violence toward domestic animals (cats in particular). It's a personal trigger and just not a topic I'm especially interested in exploring. Violence toward Shadows/monsters, though? Definitely fine. :P
• Love triangles (just not my thing and exhausting to play out).
• 4th Walling.

ASK FIRST:

• Fighting, attacking my character, etc. If it fits the scenario, I'm willing to coordinate (lord knows Akechi is a combative piece of shit with a history of violence).
• Anything ship adjacent, e.g. kissing, physical affection, etc.
• I can work with assumed CR depending on the thread, but if I'm canonblind, it may need some coordination.
• Threadjacking.

Shipping Preferences:

• With romantic ships, I prefer to stick to m/m, but I am always open to interactions with characters of all genders, and generally seek out gen threads as a default.
• In terms of pairs with canon characters, Shuake is by far my favorite, but when interacting with Jokers, I'm more than happy to to gen threads, especially given the emotionally constipated mess that is Akechi.
• May be open to trying other m/m ships of similar age to Akechi. Generally prefer to keep it in that 16 - 20 age range tops.
• Not comfortable threading out smut threads, but depending on CR, fade to black might be okay. Akechi has a lot of hangups with intimacy due to his mother and his traumas in general.

Content Warnings:

• Child neglect, manipulation, and abuse are a pretty significant part of his backstory, along with parental suicide.
• Akechi was an assassin for at least two years of his life and has used his abilities to give innocent people psychotic breakdowns. While he lacked complete agency, he still did a great deal of harm that is an intrinsic part of his character, even if he no longer walks that path and is well aware of the damage he's dealt.
• Akechi is someone with deep psychological and emotional scars and can be snippy and unpleasant, cold, or passive aggressive, especially toward those he dislikes. He is not one to be overtly warm or soft, though that's not to say he can't be cordial or respectful.
